Campus E-Bookstore is a development project owned by North American College stores. The goal of Campus E-Bookstore is to develop affordable alternatives and compliments to traditional course materials.

The development of this site is proceeding in phases. The phases are:

1. Free Materials: We have undertaken the conversion of public domain content to the universal eBook file format known as EPub. We hope to digitize thousands of public domain works and distribute them free of charge as complements and alternatives to existing course materials.
2. Commercial Ebooks: We have started aggregating ebooks from a number of publishers. We plan to have these titles available for purchase through Campus E-Bookstore during the fall of 2009.
3. Custom Publications: Custom publications are an important resource to faculty. We plan to have facilities which allow faculty to create, publish and distribute custom published eBooks by early 2010.
4. Print-on-Demand: We recognize that not everyone wants an eBook. In order to offer alternatives, we will be implementing facilities to enable local booksellers to create printed works "on demand" based on the content within Campus E-Bookstore.
